Gallery Hours: 12 – 5 pm, M-Th or by appointment. Closed Fridays, Weekends & Holidays.(closed Monday, February 17)

This group exhibition showcases recent works by the talented faculty and staff of the Fine Art department. The artwork on display highlights the creativity and dedication of instructors and staff, who find the time to pursue their studio practice. The exhibit includes an array of traditional and contemporary media, such as painting, photography, installation, sculpture, ceramics, digital art, and beyond.

Free parking event nights ONLY in Lot 1, STAFF Parking.
Large-scale canvases by these two artists envelop us with the omnipresent beauty of nature. Bennett’s animated brushstrokes and sumptuous color washes coax luminous landscapes into being. Inspired by the healing experience of Japanese “forest-baths,” Dunn paints a sensual arboreal space using bold hues and semi-realistic forms.

Exhibition Dates: May 12-22, 2025

Cash prizes will be awarded at the reception.
Eligibility:
- Open to all currently enrolled Mesa College students who have taken a Mesa Studio
Art Class.
- Work must have been produced in a Mesa College studio art class from FA 2023 - SP
2025.
- Work submitted should not have been included in previous in person student exhibitions.
- If selected, work must be framed & ready to install/hang.
- Size limitation : Up to 10 square feet space maximum.
Guidelines:
- Please fill out and submit Google Form.
- Submit up to 5 high resolution jpeg images of artwork.
- Label and number jpeg files, with name for example: GarciaAlex0l, GarciaAlex02.
We will notify you by Friday, April 11, 2025 if your work was chosen to be in the
exhibit.

The Spring 2025 Student Art Exhibition was juried by Johnny Tran, owner of Thumbprint Gallery in La Jolla. During the reception light refreshments will be served and student awards will be presented around 6 pm. Celebrate the end of the school year with us!

About the Gallery
The Mesa College Art Gallery is an educational forum to present the work of professional artists in a range of media and dealing with diverse issues. During the academic year, four exhibits feature art by emerging and established contemporary artists.
